Through photography Yoeri Hostie helps organisations, artists and communities translate real-life moments into compelling visual stories.

Yoeri Hostie is a freelance photographer based in Antwerp, Belgium. His work operates at the intersection of documentary, portrait and cultural photography, focusing on people, communities and contemporary urban life. He combines a documentary sensibility with a strong attention to narrative, atmosphere and context.

His practice is rooted in commissioned work, ranging from editorial assignments and cultural documentation to portrait series and collaborative projects. He works closely with organisations, cultural institutions and publications to create images that reflect both subject and context with clarity and nuance.

His work has been published in magazines and newspapers including Knack, De Standaard, HLN and Gazet van Antwerpen, and created in collaboration with cultural organisations, theatre companies and editorial projects such as Beweging.net. He has also collaborated with Posture Editions and Deus Ex Machina.

Yoeri’s work has been exhibited in venues including Citibee, Mygalleries, and the Permeke Library in Antwerp. He is currently exhibiting in Buurtcentrum Cortina.

Based in Antwerp, he is available for editorial, documentary, portrait and cultural photography assignments, as well as commissioned projects and print work.
